I shifted in my dreams today. Like, in my dreams, I legit turned from regular human to the angelic monster I feel inside. It's never happened before in my dreams

I went pretty much nonverbal and walked around kinda hunched over, sometimes moving similarly to a gorilla. My mouth was open alot more and I probably licked my teeth alot. I also got more agile and tough, not being injured as easily

In this dream I also kinda latched onto a little girl and became like her irl guardian angel (/monster), and mostly I remember accompanying her in school and I often held her protectively, growled at people who were rude to her and one time when she came back to me with bruises on her knees I licked the bruises clean. It kinda helped. And it was nice feeling like a motherly animal to a vulnerable young child.

Eventually the dream obviously took a more extreme turn and suddenly we were escaping from something, like, army level threat. I got her into some cart (or like a small car) and stayed guard on it's roof on the outside, maybe partially because I couldn't fit inside and partially because I wanted to divert the attention more to myself away from her. I got shot multiple times and did bleed but I felt next to no pain the bullet wounds didn't impact me very negatively. A little yes but not super

I do wish I didn't go nonverbal in the dream though, because the human part of me feels like that would've made things less awkward, especially when me and the girl met initially. But it worked out just huffing, growling and cooing
