kirbtober day 4: headcanon
*scrambles out on the floor covered in blood* IM NOT LATE IM NOT LATE IM... NOT..... LATE!!!!!!!!!!! RAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!
ahem. anyways. so. this probably looks really not headcanony and like i just drew a normal on model(ish) magolor right? WRONG! i just so happen to headcanon that magolor has ah... kitty dysphoria.
like. he hates being kbity. how dare he i know. but it just. gives him such.... bad feelings. he was never comfortable with it. then, one day, he learned a spell that helped him conceal his whiskers, paws and tail. it worked so that they dont look like they're there, and they aren't physically there either.
it was perfect!! everything he hated about his stupid body, gone!!! he'd never have to deal with that again!!!! those stupid cat features!!!!! that is, unless he lost his powers somehow...
yep, after he lost his powers in another dimension after the whole crown incident, his cat features came right back out as if they were always there. what a shame! poor fuck had to not only deal with being trapped in another dimension with no powers and no way out with tattered clothes, he also had his kitty parts right back out for the world to see! well shit. poor guy!!
in the dream kingdom, he had gotten reacquainted with having his kitty parts from his time in another dimension, and he was like "well. i'm not gonna be staying here forever probably, and these aren't the actual people, so i'll just try this out..! i guess!" so even though he could perform the spell again and put his kitty parts back like they were never there, he didn't.
then when he got back to dreamland and reconciled with the dream team, he obviously looked a little different!!! and they all were confused, reasonably. magolor just kinda responded with a "yeah... that might've been another thing that i lied to you about... heh..."
and so, he's had his whiskers, paws and tails back ever since another dimension! he's come to terms with having them, instead of using that spell to conceal them out of fear just because he didn't like them. he actually really likes them now! he thinks his tail can be really useful at times, and it's fun to have flying behind him when he's running. well, floating fast?? and his whiskers are very useful for when he is unable to see and can't use a flame or other sort of light source.
