“hey shouko!”
a voice called out to the said girl, she turned with her raven hair blowing through the air. the h/c haired girl caught up to her and slowed down as she ran a bit too fast and went ahead of komi.
“how was your weekend?”
y/n asked as she rummaged through her bag, pulling out a notebook and pencil, handing it to komi and as she let her write down her answer, she swung on her feet.
komi wrote down her response quickly, finishing up, she turned the notebook showing her answer.
‘it was very nice, i hope your one was nice too’
y/n smiled widely,
“i did for sure! now, shall we?”
y/n replied and went into a prince-like pose, bowing her head down towards her. komi smiled and walked ahead of her with elegance.
a few bystanders that were close by to the duo watched as the two students walked into the school.
“they’re both so pretty-”
“do you think i can get her number?”
“she’s way too perfect for you.”
“who are you talking about?”
“both of them!”

y/n sat in the sit in front of komi and turned around in her sit,
“we have quite the fanbase…”
y/n said quietly to komi, subtly shifting her eyes towards the two entrances in the class, it being filled with all different people watching the two beauties. komi also shifted her eyes towards the several students and y/n waved towards them, some fainted.
“you’re okay with this, right? i know we’re in a new school and all that and that might be too much too- but are you fine with this?”
komi was always so happy because of y/n, she always checked up on her, made sure she was okay, how her day was, how anything was.
she was glad to have her as a best friend.
komi smiled and nodded towards y/n, she lit up instantly and smiled brightly with komi.
..again, several people fainted.

the day ended nicely, the two had also made a new friend. he went by the name tadano hitohito, he was a nice person who didn’t fawn over komi and y/n as much as everyone else did.
“shouko, wanna get a bite to eat? there’s a new cafe close to school.”
komi eagerly nodded, packing her stuff up quickly as y/n stood by, waiting for her one she finished.
“let’s go!”
y/n exclaimed, holding onto komi’s hand and running towards the exit of the school. komi watched y/n’s hair blow through the wind, pushing it back to reveal her excited face and beautiful e/c eyes.
she understood the people fawning over her and y/n.
she just might be one of them for y/n.

okay so a problem occurred.
komi was walking briskly while y/n was running around her but managed to keep up with her. when they were about to walk by a scary looking alley.
y/n stopped komi in caution,
“imagine those scenes happen when the main characters get flirted with by old men- ew, let’s run away before it happens, hopefully not..”
y/n walked quickly with komi trailing behind, komi let out a panicked squeak as she glanced at the alley, with a guy running straight at them with a pocket knife.
“what’s up shouko-?”
seeing a guy cut komi on the arm was not good, now was it?
y/n blocked the stabber’s path from komi and had a fighting stance, presumably defending komi from harm again.
“aw c’mon, let’s have a little fun.”
“rather not, let’s play monopoly maybe.”
y/n kicked the stabber by his feet, making him lose his footing and turning around quickly to komi, holding onto her wrist in a steady manner, she ran quickly, hoping that komi or her didn’t lose their footing either.
stopping by the convenience store near the new cafe, the store had a lot of stuff, including bandages.
purchasing bandages and ointment, y/n walked outside to komi who sat on the curb, clutching the stab wound with blood seeping through her fingers.
“i’m so sorry you went through that, are you hurt anywhere else?”
komi shook her head,
“good. tell me if it’s too tight.”
komi nodded and winced slightly as ointment was placed, then bandages. the two teenagers didn’t exchange too many words, nothing but the sunset and bird noises surrounding them.
a calming atmosphere from what they just went through.
“you sure you’re okay?”
komi didn’t respond, but she did eventually, very slowly with her lips parted.
“y-y—ye–yes..”
y/n looked up at the dark haired girl with care. the light from the sunset laid comfortably on komi’s face, her black eyes piercing the light and the wind stopping and going through her hair too.
she understood the people fawning over her and komi.
she just might be one of them for komi.
y/n smiled softly.
“i’m glad, my parents would kill me if you’re not safe and okay.”
