embroidery of love

There's a small hole in Soonyoung's shirt right on top of his heart. You would stick a finger inside when you were lying on his chest, tickling the skin under.
He never seemed to mind about it, the hole and you tickling him, because it's not his only shirt that got a hole in it. He thinks it's the washing machine, creating little damage time by time. But as long as he wears it inside the house, that shouldn't be a problem at all.
"Wow, didn't you bring an umbrella?" He asks when he opens the door to you, looking like a lost puppy seeking shelter from the rain.
"I was already on the way here," you whimpered. Teeth clashing from the cold. He drags you directly to the bathroom before taking one of his shirts.
"Next time just call me, babe, I'll pick you up," Soonyoung said when you walked out of the bathroom, wearing his shirt that looks oversized on you. You fiddle with the small hole on the bottom of it, wondering how many more shirts have a hole on it.
You took the liberty to alter his shirts. Watching countless tutorial videos on how to fix a hole with cute embroideries. The first one you did was a small square on the side of the shirt.
Soonyoung didn't seem to notice at first, until he caught you watching those videos in the middle of the night, trying to figure out how to do a heart.
He didn't bother you, you didn't like to be bothered when your forehead is knotted that way. So, he simply watches as you finally manage to secure the last thread.
Then he started noticing little embroideries on his shirt, the basic one was little squares (it's the first one you did), he also noticed little flowers with a pastel color on his black shirt (very hard to miss), and a little heart just right on the hole in front of his chest (he'd like to take this one on overseas trip).
He can't help but smile whenever he walks past a mirror and sees the vibrant colors of the embroideries. He occasionally points out new holes in his shirt to you, waiting in anticipation, trying to guess what kind of ideas you have.
"Thank you," he whispered to you one night. You were half-asleep, eyes tired of hours watching tutorial videos on how to make little bugs that maybe will catch him off guard when he notices.
You're like his little magician, fixing up his shirt (and life, for all that he cares), adding your personal touch and color that compliments his own in ways he never imagined.
