This is kind of interesting because like... was Lambert at that much risk of falling ill? I can't imagine they were careless keeping up cleanliness and such around him. Dimitri would've been at risk because he was, what, an infant? But I would think they'd keep Lambert and Dimitri as safe as possible and quarantine the queen as soon as they knew she was sick.

I would've just figured that the royal family would have access to the best care and that the adults would be the least likely to be affected. We know the plague was really bad, but we never heard mention that Lambert was in any danger of getting it.
