Oh absolutely. I'm somewhat of an addict when it comes to music.
My usual routine when it comes to writing, especially more complex pieces that also have dialogue, is to first read a few chapters of GoT and then I just play a playlist of GoT/HOTD osts and get to work. Ramin Djawadi honestly is such an amazing artist when it comes to these osts I can't get enough of them
I don't know many people that can write without some tune tbh, I don't think I've met anyone that writes in silence unless it's for uni. I don't usually listen to anything if it's some paper for uni either tbh, that is the only time I write in silence.
