There's soo much to say on this masterpiece. Many have put it more eloquently than I ever could. One day when my brain can overpower my emotions, I'll try.

After an amazing first 24 hours…

Nearly 6 months later, through many trials faced by Jimin supporters, the MV achieved 100 million views!!!!!!!!!!

Whilst every achievement of Jimin's and Jimin supporters brightens my day, it's also very bitter sweet, as is with everything related to Jimin's solo debut.

Never an image so true *sigh*

There's nothing that I could say, that hasn't been said before.

I want to, however, record this achievement and Jimin's labour of blood, sweat, laughter and tears on my blog because, of course, he's one of my obsessions :-)

jimin has robert mapplethrope on his pants!!!! i repeat, jimin has robert mapplethrope on his pants!!!

for those that don't know, mapplethrope was a queer artist who used photography to explore sexuality. he used his photographs to explore themes of gender, sadomasochism, how masculinity and femininity play together. he subverted so many ideas of gender and sex and love and what those concepts looked like to queer society, or to those that just didn't fit the common mold.

he eventually died of aids in 1989. some of his photographs:
