honkai star rail hsr blade honestly i thought the same thing when reading his voicelines in his official intro or whatever like?? he was actually rlly gentle in them?? unlike a lot of vengeful characters his anger is only directed against a couple specific people & nobody else every time i read more abt his backstory it hurts worse & worse tbh the fact that he forged his friends' weapons & they were prob used to kill him 😭 and?? perhaps his hands were damaged when he grabbed the sword jingliu was using to stab him?? like his immortality reformed the skin/muscles but not the nerves which fits how i understood the “blessing/curse” of yaoshi yes it gives you physical life but not the mentality/meaning to it bc the mind becomes lost if that makes sense also “youth-like brain” “young man” & a “teen” (him??? DH???) in his character stories indicate he died when he was really young & he's basically mentally frozen in time there idk i haven't caught up with the main story yet so we'll see if that's correct but this is what i've gleaned so far i am brainrotting over this man lmao rotating him in my mind like an unhinged microwave
