ahh gosh thank you!! this warms my heart so much you have no idea, and i got really excited when i saw you mentioned teen!toji because my mind wanders back to that time of his life. like when it was less violent and before him becoming the sorcerer killer. i actually don't have a solid story idea except just little moments of him falling for someone. so i can share some hcs about him in that regard 🤍
Teen!Toji, who looks forward to seeing you at what is now known as "our spot" for lunch twice a week after his morning training. Sometimes you're there early and other times he's waiting for you on the bench overlooking the verdant forest. He doesn't know how to feel when you bring him sweet treats like dango, taiyaki, melon pan because he's never tasted them before but he's grateful to you. There's a lot that he doesn't know and hasn't seen and you're the first person to change that.
Teen!Toji, who's a little surprised when he lets himself make promises to you and he actually keeps his word. When you notice the bags under his eyes, "Try to sleep earlier tonight, okay?" When you know it's flu season and he won't stop training even feeling under the weather, you supply him herbal medicine and honey to help with the bitterness, "Make sure you take them, I'll know if you don't." He's never been cared for like this and he likes that someone is looking out for him.
Teen!Toji, who wants to spend more time with you but it'll become suspicious if he doesn't return back to the estate on time. He still has duties and responsibilities he must uphold and he doesn't want members of the Hei or his terrible cousins sticking their nose where they don't belong and give him trouble. But when he's not with you for the remainder of the day, he feels a part of him is missing that evening and he hates the facade he's forced to maintain in front of them.
Teen!Toji, who dreams about running away with you and starting a new life somewhere far away and live in the countryside village where no one knows your names. He's aware that it's a foolish thought and he can't truly escape the shackles of the Zenin clan so he always keeps it to himself. But if you were the one to propose such an idea, he'd agree in a heartbeat because as long as you have each other he can come up with counter-attacks to any difficulties and problems that stand in the way.
