^^ i like to think bakugou is very aware of deku's mannerisms and just his general character since they've been friends since they were kids, its wouldn't be hard for him to tell something is off compared to their more recent friends.

also deku sitting in silence having internal monologues is very common so like no one is batting an eye if this dude just sits around making faces all day plus he mumbles a lot, hes just a weird dude so i think others would take a bit longer to pick up on it but like bakugou would know instantly cuz his vibes r off or smth idk
