A comic involving Prince Vermilion of the Skywings, an unnamed Skywing servant, and an unnamed scavenger woman. The scavenger is practicing her swordplay within view of Vermilion's window. He observes her, commenting on the strange "metal claw" she is handling, wondering what it is. A servant approaches him and informs him that a broadsword he commissioned has been completed. Vermilion tells him to put it onto the pile with the others.
