Long Post Is Long Hmm Sorry - Tumblr Posts

TONIGHT on “Ballpoint Pen on Lined Paper Badfic Theatre!!” I revisited this time-travel shenanery, except this time Rex came along too. I figure any prison-type place worth its salt would confiscate all their armor and weapon accessories, but conveniently Rex somehow comes into possession of a hideous poncho thing to hide the highly suspicious Republic emblem on his chest. Also he has some kind of strange aviator Lawrence of Arabia hat thing, reasons for which include me wanting to draw him in a silly hat.

There’s probably some kind of violent political upheaval or gang war going on in these parts, with many fairly innocent people ending up incarcerated on trumped-up charges. So after this encounter it doesn’t take too long for both Obi-Wan and Ahsoka & Rex to come to the conclusion that the other(s) really are decent people, just caught in a bad situation. Though Ahsoka and Rex are such an odd duo that OW starts thinking that they might be unusual heart-of-gold bounty hunters. Far from being a damsel in distress, Ahsoka turns out to be a suspiciously good fighter, and on closer inspection OW sees she has a goddamn Akul-tooth headdress on. Can’t buy those at the bazaar. And Rex, though tough and older, seems almost deferential to her. Like a hired hand turned partner in semi-crime.

Mm I thought I had more to say but I guess I don’t (you’re welcome?) So here are a few more scribbles instead.

Oh wait right also there was something about a Mad Max style car speeder chase after they break out. Anakin is driving, Qui-Gon is on the hood deflecting incoming fire, Rex and Ahsoka are hanging out the sides shooting, and Obi-Wan is bleeding out in the backseat :D
