Cari and I just watched the Fellowship of The Ring and she had the audacity to call Boromir ‘Weak-willed”

I SAID SORRY!!!! I LOVE HIM I THINK HES GREAT!!!

-Aragorn was so far removed from society that he really only desired one thing

- which by this point he already had, and only lost later

-then he was so determined to ‘save the day’ and not think about his ex that he didn't have time to listen to the ring

- Legolas ia an elf, he was raised among the splendor and beauty of Mirkwood Forest

- He loves his people, sure, but he's also been off on his own for a couple decades now

- he also MET Gollum, he saw what the ring did to him

-it is my belief that Gimli just didn't want to look weak in front of all the elves

-The hobbits have proven to be really hard to convert if they're not actively touching it

-Sam was so filled with love for his friend, and all he could see was the harm it was causing Frodo

-Pippin is enamored by the Palantir but the ring’s importance was lost to him

-He was more concerned with people than this one thing

- Merry knew better than Pippin, but he was motivated by his love for his cousin and friend

Boromir was tempted because he believed the quest was suicide. He wanted to protect his people and thought that the ring would help. The Ring was able to tempt him because he knew Gondor was in danger
