Sooo, are we just going to ignore the fact that wars is Probobly secretly, not as confident as we think he is? Like think about it, the last time he was confident in him self he was a liability, the one thing he's most afraid of. He's probably worried that if hes ever confident in himself again then he'll be a liability like last time. And due to this he probably has incredibly low self esteem. Because he's worried that if he shows the slightest bit of confidence, that he's proud, then he'll be a burden, and then the others will have to come help him. So he's not aloud to be proud of himself, not aloud to be confident, not aloud to show the slightest bit of self praise, even if he probably deserves it. Because he's scared of being useless
I have thought about this. I prefer to think that Time did find peace, but he knew he couldn’t pass on until he had trained Twilight. After all, events have now been altered: he now knows Twilight, whereas before, their very first meeting was in TP. There’s little chance Time-as-the-Shade wouldn’t recognize him. In order to preserve the loop, Twilight would have to tell him how the Shade acted. Time would know how to pretend, acting stern as the Hero’s Shade and as if it was their first meeting (while being secretly very happy to see his descendant again).
Why? Because I demand happy endings.
One of the saddest part of LU that the fandom rarely touches on, is the fact that no matter what Twilight does Time will always end as the hero’s shade.
And given how we call upon the spirit of the dead hero, there is a slightly possibility that even Time himself already knows he will not find peace by the time he dies. (explained by the howling stones)
Yet I wonder if it will shown later in the comic how strong that realization will hit Twilight. Poor boy already thought his "dead" would be the cause of it, so it’s clear that he thinks about it.
We know that Wild knows a lot more than others about Twilights adventure, but does he also knows about the hero’s shade? Twilight clearly hasn’t mentioned it to Time and I doubt he will unless it’s very necessarily.
Also, Wind’s Phantom Sword needs new source of spirit power. So an arc about the dead will surly be a thing, maybe then we will get a better look on how much Twilight thinks he can change Time’s fate or if he than realizes that he could never do anything about it.
I think what I love the most about the Lu fandom, is how we all agree that, not all the Links have blue eyes or need to be blond. It makes more sense that way, to why people know about a hero, yet can never predict that this Link is THE Link.
Best example has to be Wind.
He wasn’t born a hero. Little dude had to prove himself in front of the gods to be acknowledged, even though his name is Link, blond, green clothes and not liked by Ganondorf etc... (Not counting his eyes since some write him with green or brown eyes) Wind just proves that Link is just a common name in Hyrule.
Twilight having more reddish/ brown hair. Same goes for Legend, which is blond in the comic, but his pink hair in alttp, comes original from the idea that he has strawberry blond hair. A blond that, for me, tends to look more orange, and with that I declare Twilight and Legend as redhead’s duo, no I don’t take criticism.
Hyrule curly brown hair and green/brown eyes, perfect to hide he was the hero when he was younger. Sky’s hair looks blond, but with time I things it’s more of a very light brown.
Summary: The Links looking different is just great for world building and explains to a small degree why Ganon/Ganondorf could never kill the hero as an infant, one could have all the prove like the name and all, yet that can also mean nothing. Yes one could look at the bloodline of the child, since the hero needs to come from an Royal knight bloodline, but that can also trick you, most of the boy never even grow up with their parents! Not to forget that Time and Twilight had been adopted by people that had nothing to do with the kingdom of Hyrule.
And Hyrule was born and raised in a time were the royal knight bloodline was way more harder to prove. He had probably some ancient relatives who once were knights but at that point no one cared anymore.
The way the fandom explores more openly the aspect of Link not having to be blond, blue eyes a knight, is the best. It makes it more believable and it takes the theory away of all the loz games are the same just told differently. No, all these reincarnation’s are different people, sharing one spirit, and they are not just copies of the first hero.
Something something 'The Wild that went into the Shrine of Resurrection is not the same that came out, how much of me is myself and how much of me is my experiences and the perception of others and since memories and perception are reality, losing your memories is essentially having a part of yourself killed and all the trauma that comes with it but not knowing WHY you have the scars and becoming a different person for it.' and 'Wild did come out as himself because even without his memories he is still Link he's just at a different point in his life simply for the fact that just because you grown doesn't mean you are a completely new person. You just changed and you are more than just the sum of your broken parts, you are still beautiful and lovely and deserving of love and there's always a place for you no matter how you change because at the end of the day it's still you.' are two thoughts that can and should coexist actually.
