We keep saying Luke is a simp for reader (he is) but it's the other way around as well. Reader loves baking things for Luke and making him lunches for office days. They also make sure he gets enough hydration and even packs cute notes in his bag for motivation

i was just about to go to sleep but OH. MY. GOD. YES THEY ABSOLUTELY WOULD

like baking his favourite cookies?? YES! speaking to his mami and finding out what his favourite foods were as a kid and cooking them, YEAH they'd do that for him.

literally reader would simp just as hard if not HARDER for luke, they would do literally anything to keep him happy, it's insane, and i love the idea of them making him lunches for when he goes to the office, he makes them a lot of the time but if they know that he's tired, they'll make his favourite or a comfort food and they'll give him some freshly baked cookies (and one for garcia to) which quickly devolves in them baking for the entire team bc their cookies are the best (i see u jj, going after the cookies)

but if he is the one that makes his lunch, that doesn't mean his partner won't sneak a note in so that he can giggle and smile over it while he's at the office. it's usually just something short and sweet, an i love you or you look cute today but sometimes it's a little longer and when she knows he's been having a rough week she writes a longer note talking about how much she loves him and telling him that they're gonna go do something together whenever he has his next free weekend

like the reader has endless patience with his job and they adore him so so so much, would literally do anything to make him smile and if he's had a really long day in the office, he comes back to find that they invited themselves over, already took roxy for a walk for him and gave her dinner bc luke was back late and then they are cooking while roxy watches them and he's just so in love

and the reader would just do little things, gift him a new book that he's been wanting, check when the release of games he wants to play are so she can make sure he can play them on the day of release and not have to worry about anything else, sometimes they'll even do research on the games to make sure that they know everything and if they're over while luke is playing and he is stuck on a level, they'll watch a couple of playthroughs in secret and then give subtle hints to get him through the level

like he is a gamer bro but he's the big soft cuddly gamer bro and he will play his games but if you text him that you've had a bad day or need to cry, he will drop everything and come to you. you would do the same for him

it's such a soft cute relationship and ugh, okay, i really need to go sleep now but the thoughts of mr luke alvez are constant especially in my ill-state, i cannot escape him, i want him to give me soup and take care of me and scare the doctors into listening to me xx

(I have wavy hair so this is very self indulgent) Luke seeing reader struggle with their wavy/curly hair and doing a lot of research so he can help them in the best way possible. Even going out of his way to get them appointments at the right hairdresser and getting the products needed

when i got this ask, i knew i had to write some drabbl-y thoughts, i might end up writing a one-shot with this in mind at a later date but for now, i'm just gonna drop some thoughts because my hair is also just a weird wavy but also not texture and i struggle with it so much so this is also really self-indulgent

at first, when you first start dating, luke doesn't really notice how much you struggle with your hair, it's not that you hide it from him but you always seem relatively put together and it's only when you get further into the relationship that he starts to see you struggle

like whenever you have a night where you wash your hair, he watches as you put gel/cream/mousse/leave-in conditioner, whatever you use and then he notices how long it takes for you to dry your hair and how you are so careful with it

he is honestly in awe by how well you are able to take care of it and the patience that you have for something that he had never really thought about

he has naturally wavy hair too but as a guy, he has never really put much thought into it, his mami taught him how to care for it as a kid and it's really simple for him so he never really considered how much work it was for you

and then as you get further into your relationship, you begin to talk about your hair and how you need to find a new hairdresser bc your old one can't do curly cuts in a way that you like and it's frustrating you

that kicks luke right into action, he is researching and looking for hairdressers for you, he is vetting them, talking to them, asking about what kind of hair they deal with and even had garcia do a dive into them to make sure that they are exactly what you need them to be, then at the end of the week that you mentioned it, he tells you that he has found some places for you to try and you are blown away by how sweet and thorough he has been

and then after doing all this research into hairdressers, he finds himself researching everything to do with curly/wavy hair and he is trying to find ways to help because you spend so much time maintaining and ensuring the waves/curls look nice

and because of all this research, the days where you are at your wits end with your hair, he helps you, he is so reassuring with it, telling you that it's okay to be frustrated and asks if he can do anything to help

there's even been times where he's found you crying in frustration because you added too much product to your hair and ruined it and you had to redo the whole routine and you just get so frustrated and he does everything he can to make you feel better

"do you want me to help you wash your hair tonight?"

"i can diffuse your hair for you if you want"

"come on, i can tell you're tired, let me help"

he is so soft and so understanding and he just wants to see his baby happy and he will do absolutely anything to make sure that you are
