Didn't finish the storyboards last month but I don't want to rush it and make it crappy... So here's my morning sketch for the day! Bio: Adamtton (Atom) Baron 26 year old African American Male Nevana's brother and Serenity's boyfriend He loves close combat and sarcasm. He gets annoyed with Nevana's antics easily and seems kind of mean at times, but has a soft spot for Serenity. He is very loyal to his friends and family and loves to fight! He also despises Nevana's boyfriend Rory. He actually enjoys the wasteland life and doesn't spend much time thinking about the old world. At one point in the series, Nevana gets captured as a hostage. They shave her beautiful hair to humiliate her. Of course, her brother Atom comes to save her :3 to which she is very upset, as she apparently had a very elaborate plan to escape that he ruined. Did she, actually? We won't know. So sorry for not posting yesterday!! I don't want to disappear again, I'm just working on...well, working AS a freelance writer at home, and also working hard on getting my portfolio together for my college review. Anyway, here is the daily sketch! Bio: Nevana Baron, Female, 24 years old. Atom's sister, Rory's girlfriend. Nevana has a lot of attitude. She can appear to be ignorant at times, but is actually just very smart with a large mouth and easily angered. She'll use any weapon but prefers heavy guns and self-rigged power tools. She loves technology and repair; secretly a science geek. Her favorite music genres are old timey country and techno club music. Nevana is very confident and flirtatious, though only flirting with Rory. She hates Serenity (for reasons revealed in the comic) and Pork N' Beans. The daily sketch...includes 2 quick illustrations!! The second one I only used the watercolor brush tool to color (no marker tool base) and colored on one layer only to see how it would look. I'll continue to keep things organized but it wouldn't be a bad style for my concept art :3 I'm still hopefully going to my art event today, but I decided not to say what it is in case something happens and I can't go. I hate jinxing myself and being disappointed. The daily sketch is one of my favorite original characters to draw!! Name: Serenity, 25 year old Female Atom's girlfriend and Videl's ex best friend, Jude's ex best friend/girlfriend, Modus' builder. Serenity was growing up in the orphanage with Videl before the bombs dropped. They were forced into an experimental shelter ran by Neo-Nazis in an attempt to create the ultimate weapon to take over America when it was safe to leave the shelter. Needless to say this did not go as planned, as you will see it played out in a seperate comic from NWN dubbed Sanitarium. When I rewrite it for the third time since 2014. Serenity herself, after facing many traumatic events through childhood and her young adult years before finally trying to recover. Since mental health care is basically obsolete in the wasteland, she usually copes as being a smart ass and getting herself into a lot of trouble. Similar sarcasm to Nevana, but Nevana does it on purpose while Serenity does not. She is an extremely skilled mechanic, as she built Modus and several other contraptions, such as her main ride: a self driving motorcycle.
