OMG MY QUEEN YES. (also im so sorry it took me so long to respond i completely forgot asks existed mbmb) Ok let's go

She's an only child and has always wanted siblings/a huge family so the marauders, valkyries and skittles are essentially her siblings/chosen family.

She is the biggest fashionista in the group (followed by Sirius) and everyone goes to her for outfit/makeup/hair advice.

She's an amazing secret keeper and really easy to talk to. People tend to spill while she helps them get ready and she's always very comforting and accepting.

She got Sirius his first eyeliner and taught him how to use it. They get ready for parties together and always have the juiciest gossip sessions.

I HC that Marlene was the first to figure her shit out and come out to the rest of them, so after that if anyone said anything remotely homophobic or even so much as looked at Marlene the wrong way, Mary would, without hesitation, be ready to pounce.

She gave the best relationship advice despite never having been in a longterm relationship. That is, until she started dating Lily (and you best believe she implemented every single piece of advice she'd ever given anyone to ensure they had the stablest and cutiest relationship ever.) Like who are we kidding, we know they were relationship goals.

Her love languages were words of affirmation and quality time. Being muggle born, she learned pretty early on that words can hurt. It helped her realise the value of words that made her feel loved instead of pained. As an only child, she felt alone a lot of the time growing up and while it allowed her to appreciate solitude, quality time with someone made her feel special.

Marlene and Mary were each others' gay awakenings but they never dated because they felt they were better as friends. They totally had an 'if we aren't married by 40' pact tho.

She was observant af. She predicted literally every ship before they happened; Wolfstar (tbf who didn't), Jegulus, Dorlene. She also figured out Remus was a werewolf in 4th year once they got closer but never told anyone until he admitted it to her himself.
