so the prompt for today's March Magic from the @thepromptfoundry is dragons. I though about how dragons are associated with wealth, and riches and then thought to my favorite gemstone being opal. As a result I drew a dragon that was inspired by the gem who is attached to a wizardfrog that just found her randomly in his travels. I kind of am reminded of the meme "don't talk to me or my son ever again" when I look at this piece.

Day 8: Dragons

So today's march magic from @thepromptfoundry was "magicians". And I thought about how back in the day fledgling actors would start out at repertory theatres to hone their skills before they would become household names and wondered if there was a similar concept for magicians. So I drew a flegling magician that works in a repertory theater owned by ghosts called "frog's theater", clearly he still has a lot to work on.

So for day 10 of @thepromptfoundry's march magic was "Accidental Magic" and I thought back to cooking and how things can go wrong verry quickly. I can imagine the same going for making potions as well. So I drew the frog wizard trying to concoct a potion, but will soon realize that the potion will be a mistake.

So for @thepromptfoundry's March Magic today was spell circles, so I drew my little wizardfrog utilizing such magic via a spell book even if they can't human dialect.

Day 10: Accidental Magic.

I subscribe to the idea that any time Noctis gets sick he becomes a walking magic hazard.

so the prompt for @thepromptfoundry's Magical March is Nature spirits. I often think of guardians of biomes such as forests. As a result I drew my little frog wizard encountering such a group of guardians.

So the prompt for @thepromptfoundry's March Magic is "magic wands" and I often think back to movies and books etc. where a character would have to practice using them. So I drew my little frog wizard testing out a new wand that he found from a vendor in a small villa, and their dragon companion observing them.

So the prompt @thepromptfoundry's March Magic for today was "potions". given that potions are ingestible I thought about a potion based saloon called "pick your poison" run by a fox along with her wife a cat witch who comes up with the recipes for the potions. The frog wizard visits them often to regale them of his tales, and to get a nice glass of milk.

Day 12: Nature Spirit

A little Area Mirus Fleuret for all of you. I feel like she would make a good tree/wind sort of nature spirit.

So the prompt today for @thepromptfoundry's Magic March was "Magic Bloodlines". I decided to draw my tiefling character given that they are a sorceress that comes from a line of mages, however is disconnected from such family given that she was adopted from a verry young age, and as such her family of origin remains shrouded in mystery.

Day 13: Wands

I give you a homonnculus!Prompto developing some magic wands. I thought it would be interesting that the wands are developed kind of like photography. Soaking in diffrent solutions. I thought about drawing him carving them- but I think this suits him better.

Day 14: Potions

I give you Sorcerer! Noctis and Elemental-Demon!Ignis trying to brew something together. They are more successful when they work alone, at their own pace.

Day 15: Magical Bloodlines.

Presenting a Sorcerer! Noctis alongside a Sorceress! Lunafreya. I just realized that i don't draw her properly a lot. The porprtions between her and Noctis do not make any sense. Idk why but all my female models tend to be 10% bigger no matter how i draw them. Kind of hard to fix when ur on paper. Also. I kind of gave up on Noctis's far shoulder.

I like the idea for the picture/pose though. I might revisit this digitally.

so the prompt for @thepromptfoundry's March magic is Transmutation, which reminded me of the transmutation circles in Full Metal Alchemist (Arakawa, Hiromu, 2011). So for today's prompt I drew Roy Mustang from the series in my own style showcasing the transmutation circle on his gloves (Arakawa, Hiromu, 2011)

Day 16: Transmutation

All this month I've been sort of doing a homonnculus-themed Prompto. Which is inspired by FMA. I tried to do some of the 'flaking' effect you see in the manga and anime when something is being deconstructed.

In this soft magic AU, MTs are magical constrcts that aid in spells or act as stand-ins for human sacrifice. Most people dont see them as having free will, but of course Prompto is the exception to this.

In my brain hole Prompto is actually casting a high level counter spell as someone tries to deconstruct him. Something they are NOT supposed to be able to do of course.

so the Prompt for @thepromptfoundry's March Magic for today is "necromancy", So I drew a moth necromancer playing cards with a cat that they just reanimated.

So the prompt for today's Magic March from @thepromptfoundry is Magical school. So I drew a bunny and cat who go to a school for Magicians and are studying for their upcoming practical.

Day 19: Unicorns

Still feel like drawing Luna. So here is her doing the naked lady on a unicorn trope. She was originally going to just be in her dress, but I said why not?

You would think that living only a block from a horse barn for 10 years I would be much better at drawing them. I am not.
