I feel like they're really downplaying the fact that Max is just, is rlly smart/genius, yk

Like i feel like they're trying to play him off as

not smart, distracted, lazy

but

He's smart and he's distracted & lazy

He makes inventions in his spare time

His grades are bad, phoebe calls him a moron/etc doesn't think he can handle the academic things, and they generally don't take him seriously when he shows them something that's actually insane??

He cloned a human person, he built an actual working growth ray, he made a giant mutant plant?? ?????? Like yeah they all went south bc of something but the fact that he made it work for even a little while is a feat in of itself like wtf ?? How are you not impressed , at least a little, u guys may be superheroes but the actually made a bunch of stuff, he didn't have to do that

He's smart but he's also a dumbass + a lil naive/gullible i will not deny this, i just feel like they're downplaying the fact he's an actual genius in the other areas

basically, he's a genius character who has chaotic dumbass energy

Max putting down the "nerd stuff" even tho he's a nerd, i feel that (hiro does this too ..i'm noticing a trend ..)

Also, I haven't seen one of Max's friends(i assume they're from hiddenville, possibly could be online or from metroberg(think that'swhat it'scalled)) or heard their name(s), who is he texting all the time??? And he's mostly in his room, (hidden introvert?)

Presenting as a "super villain" & "evil" but really just being a mischievous teen

and he's actually really sweet? Idk i never noticed how sweet he was, like he does care abt his twin under all that sibling rivalry very cool , hard shell, sweet core?

He's always been my favorite character since i started watching the show when i was younger, I'm just generally excited abt him i love how he acts lol
