Medicine Pocket x reader who is their rival?
Hi anon! Thanks for the ask! Since I didnt get much detail about how they are rivals so I just let my thoughts run loose! Hope you're happy with my writing ☆ :D

You and medicine pocket were both scientists at Laplace Scientific Computing Center, constantly bickering and seeing who would have the most success in their experiments. Yet one day it escalated to much....more...
You were in your lab, quietly working on your latest masterpiece until you hear the usual annoying footsteps of medicine pocket, ugh. They are always barging into your lab without knocking or asking, which gets exhausting.
" [Y/N]!!"
Yet despite being 'rivals' they are always talking and being beside you...
" What medicine pocket? Don't you see I'm in middle of a damn experiment!"
You say but medicine pocket didnt listen to you.
" Yeah yeah I dont care moron, anyways I made a new serum that is ten times better than what you're making, Actually that's the reason why I came into your lab. Just watch and learn what it does and learn carefully"
They boasted about right to your face
" And what does it do exactly hm?"
" It enhances your power and knowledge of course! Dumbass"
" Well I'm already so knowledgeable and strong I don't need your serum"
You could see medicine pocket rolling their eyes and scoffing.
" Yeah right, you can barely keep yourself upright when you see a critter because your so scared of it"
Yet your face gets hot with embarrassment when medicine pocket said that comment, which is uncommon...
"Not true! And atleast I uhm..."
" Hah! You cant even defend yourself in an argument!"
They kept on messing with you until you just fell in silence, to which they didnt like. They knew they were making you feel bad, which made their cold heart feel bad for once.
They sat down next to you and laid their head in their palms.
" Heyy, I'm sorry if I made you mad, pleease talk to me!"
" Hmph..."
" [Y/N]... I'mmm sorrrrrry!"
You did a smug smile and then chuckled.
" Say some nice things and then you're forgiven, easy enough right?"
Medicine pocket groaned and then sighed.
" The things I do for forgiveness..."
Medicine pocket muttered.
" Well....Uhm.... You are a good scientist.... You can defend yourself... And well your face isnt too bad"
" I know, I'm awesome"
You said with a chuckle while shrugging, to which medicine pocket just turned the other way because they were embarrassed.
" ....You're not too bad either I'll say..."
That day was relatively calm after that fiasco...
