a lie I see in movies and books far too much
hi Tumblr, welcome to my TED talk!
first, that whole thing about never thinking about someone you were close to for years and years and years before seeing their sexy ass in a bar. like, no.
there is not a single person I have gotten to know and spoken with for more than than a month that hasn't left an impact on me in some way. I remind my friends and family every day to hydrate and eat at the end of every conversation because my fifth grade teacher did it at the end of every day. I like cream cheese bagels because my friend gave half of one once when I hadn't eaten all day, and now they remind me of her. I haven't spoken to either of those people in years, but I think about them so much.
even people I only ever knew in passing have changed me. mostly for the better, though some have undoubtedly made me horrid. for example, I curse like a sailor now and it is all my best friend's fault.
