I was rewatching some Ghosts scenes bc i might have the motivation to make an edit.

I saw A LOT of parrallels with Elias and Hesh, and Rorke and Logan.

I'll probs list them all in a different post when I have the time but I wanna focus on one specific thing that caught my ear.

During Legends Never Die, when Elias and Rorke are going to help out Ajax and Merrick, Rorke says something:

"Look's like we're saving Merrick's ass again."

Which brought up the little brain worms whispering about Merrick being all serious and shit, but when he was younger he was a bit of a troublemaker, though never on purpose.

Always getting separated, always running outta ammo.

The way Rorke said it made it sound like it was a common occurrence to go and pick Merrick outta the shit he wormed his way into.

Which opens some doors for more character development and smth silly to add to headcannons or fanfics :3

When he was younger, first joining the army, he was a little shit.

Kept getting underfoot, and into trouble.

Most of the time he didn't even mean to get into trouble, trouble found him.

Over the years he mellowed out, but Rorke and Elias know and Ajax (their child) got told lots of stories about the times Merrick was a literal gremlin.

Also he def has a random ass allergy, like mango.

I'm tweaking I need more rorke headcanons someone.. anyone.. please (⁠༎ຶ⁠ ⁠෴⁠ ⁠༎ຶ⁠)
