Been Getting A Higher Frequency Of Migraines Lately. More Anxiety + More Insomnia = More Migraines, And

Been getting a higher frequency of migraines lately. More anxiety + more insomnia = more migraines, and they're both triggers for me. Becomes a bit of a vicious cycle. Tried to make it through a work day but had to bail at halftime today. I came home to do a gentle yoga and meditation practice and got some help from one of my furry friends. She pretty much refused to get off of me. I think she believes that if she sits on me I'll feel better. I think she's right. #migrainelife #migrainesupport #therapycat https://www.instagram.com/p/B0RuGLLhOKb/?igshid=6ya9rnm7brja

Finally Feeling A Little More Myself Today! I've Learned From Experience Not To Overdo It When The Good

Finally feeling a little more myself today! I've learned from experience not to overdo it when the good days come, so this evening its time to relax. A little Thai and some Netflix tonight. So it's an actual Netflix and Chill, without all the sex. Lol. Do people still say Netflix and Chill even, or am I just really old? How does everyone else recharge when they need to? #migrainelife #rechargeyoursoul #recharge https://www.instagram.com/p/B0W4pjrBqDc/?igshid=11hjps781zsuo

Truth Here. I Also Think That You It's Ok That You Lose Some Of The Battles, So Long As You're Trying

Truth here. I also think that you it's ok that you lose some of the battles, so long as you're trying to win the war. #migrainesupport #migrainelife #thistooshallpass Credit to @migraine.relief https://www.instagram.com/p/B25o3RXhlFd/?igshid=rnrxirb7rlm

So June Is Migraine Awareness Month. Because Every Day, Week, Month Is Taken Up For Awareness For Something

So June is migraine awareness month. Because every day, week, month is taken up for awareness for something now. And just to be a pain in the ass, I woke up with one that lasted for 2 days, morning of June 1st. Timely. People with migraine disease typically have periods of high frequency attacks that taper to lower, and then back. Cyclical, so doctors have told me. I haven't gone more than 2 weeks without one in over 6 months, and mine last for days. They're hard on my loved ones, impact my ability to do my job and function at home, and no picnic to deal with. I'm ready for them to tick back to less often again anytime now. But a cure, or a treatment that actually prevents them. Or even some of them. That would be nice. Endrant. Now, who doesn't like memes, right? For migraineurs, I think you'll appreciate these. For others, here's a sortof funny glimpse into what it's like for us. #migrainelife #funnyandtrue #brainfog #allitalkaboutareinvisibleillnessesnow https://www.instagram.com/p/CA-TV0RHYLO2eOD1fAA18p_eSg0fcJwvSwPHtk0/?igshid=j6gxq3bxyfzz
