LOL turns out the answer is just to reblog and the app does the “read more” automatically if reblogging from a site that has that linked 🤣

This might seem very obvious to some, but I’m really new to Tumblr and mainly use the mobile app…how do I reblog a fanfic I like but not have the entire damn 25k+ word story posted in one fell swoop? Like I see the post has a “read more here” link, but when I click to reblog it, the entire story is in the part I’m reblogging - which is….whatever, but I’d rather have the 3 people that might see my tiny blog click on the artists’ pages instead, especially since I want to add my own thoughts to my reaction of said story in my post. How do I do the “read more” thing? 🥺
