*pokes the tags on your bearbat drawing* so like in your version of this au is helmut going by more classic werewolf rules where he's kind of just like a feral animal/spooky monster when transformed? i love aus so i am curious
Yeah! With just a wee twist. This whole AU follows almost the same idea as the first werewolf movie (also probably ladyhawke too but I never watched that movie. But now that I searched it up it has something in common with the fact that two lovers get cursed on turning into animals at some point), like any werewolf movie Helmut doesn't practically remember the whole him turning into a giant bear thingamajig. But Helmut doesn't turn into any bear, oh no, he turns into a Kodiak bear a bear that's very large and grows up to like 9 ft. To that it's basically a threat to like a lot of people. Basically the whole idea is that Helmut was cursed into turning into a bear, as well as Bob who turns into a bat at night. While his body at night is of a bear, it's mix of a DNA of his actual body (his Fur is his body hair and his teeth are just upgraded human teeth that can bite an entire deer all that stuff). In fact he can still have a thought of a human, tending to go back to him and Bob's place before sun rises. Unfortunately he still has a mix of acting like an animal and while Kodiak bears tend to avoid humans, he still stacks if they ever come near him or dare try to show of striking him he gets very feral and try to maul the said person. Fortunately Bob (who's actually in his actual consciousness) can distract Helmut before anything could happen, usually making other noises.
An unfortunate thing though, the more Helmut becomes the bear his ass will slowly become one, Same goes for Bob. Not gonna spoil too much of the story since I have thoughts on building up the story more.
I didn't know what to draw so have this jack stauber based song with a sad Bob . Not my best but like I said, I have no fucking idea what to draw
