A full week of sketching, re-sketching, and painting later, and this is about the best I can get it without going into complete perfectionist mode at my current skill level.

I know so many have loads better art and paintings than me, but this one is mine, and I'm proud of the improvements I made while doing it.

absolutely random HC for my Resist Durge Xander before I expire for the night: his handwriting in the present day is neat and orderly. pre-tadpoling/Orin's unlicensed brain surgery, it used to be LOADS messier bc he had the 'brain thoughts go too fast for dumb slow hand, make hand write fast but messy' flavor of neurospicy

now that he's dealing with a subtle but constant input lag (courtesy of going from stat cap breaking INT to like. 19 INT at endgame), he has to take his time to write letters and glyphs

so like even if he manages to find his old spellbook from his Cult Leader PrimeTM, he ain't gonna have much luck transcribing the damn thing (tbh it's a wonder he clocked his own handwriting for the Prayer of Forgiveness but that one was written in a much more deliberate hand than his past self's usual scrawlings)

and not for nothing but "ok past-me, what in the nine hells of baator were you trying to write here????" is an absolute Mood
