Here's some hanahaki disease Makoto that my middle school self would be so proud of- this is super self-indulgent and I would like to imagine he would start feeling those chest pains before he fully realizes that he is in love with Nagisa. She might got to him and ask him him what's wrong and explain the situation- he confesses with all of the sakura petals making a mess in the ground, mixing with the ones from the trees around them- Full in tears she calls him an idiot for not saying anything and assuming things, but she's also an idiot because she assumed he wouldn't be interested- THEY'RE BOTH DUMB AFFF BUT HEY IT'S ALL GOOD NOW, RIGHT!?
