Y/n POV
Vinnie and I have been friends ever since I ran away from home. I came to Los Angeles for a better life, and i meet Jaden and Nessa. They saw me crying, and they came up to me. I told them, and then I noticed it was them. They took me to their place, and I started living there. I’m like their child. I’m 17 by the way. I remember I went out one day, and I saw him. We became friends. I am now here with Jaden and Nessa about to go out and sing live. It’s my first time. Jaden and Nessa unlocked my passion for singing. I haven’t sang since Vinnie is not here yet, and he said he was going to be here to see me sing.
“¿Y/n, when are you going out to sing?” Nessa asked me.
“When Vinnie gets here.” I said, and Nessa smiled.
“¿You like him?” Nessa asked while smiling.
“¿Who says that?” I said confused.
“You said you’re going to sing once he’s here, so I asume you like him.” Nessa said while smiling.
“¿Who likes who?” Jaden said when he got to us.
“No one. I like no one.” I said while I looked away.
“Good thing. You’re too young to fall in-love with someone.” Jaden said while he kissed my forehead.
“Be quiet Jaden.” Nessa said while laughing.
“¿When are you going to sing?” Jaden asked me.
“When Vinnie gets here.” I said while looking outside to see if he’s here.
“I haven’t seeing Vinnie out there.” Jaden said while looking with me.
“He should get here soon.” I said and smiled at him.
“If he’s not here in twenty minutes, you are going to have to sing with or without him.” Jaden said as he left to go sing once again.
“Don’t worry lovely. He’s going to show up before you sing.” Nessa said, and she went to go see her boyfriend.

“He hasn’t showed up, and you need to preform darling. My fans want you to sing.” Jaden said as he kissed her head.
“Okay.” Y/n said disappointed.
“Good luck my love.” Nessa said with a smile.
“She don’t need luck because she has us.” Jaden said with a smile.
“¡Hello rockstars! I’m so glad to be here the day of today. Thank you pops for having me here. For the people who do now know. Jaden and Nessa are like my parents. I’m going to sing ‘When I’m Not Around’. Hope y’all enjoy.” I said with a smile.
They start playing the music.

He didn’t show up like he promised.
Vinnie’s POV
I come to Nai’s house to fix our friendship. I had to be at Y/n’s concert in an hour. I have time.
“Nai, I came here to fix our friendship.” I said when Nai didn’t open the door.
“Go see Y/n. ¿Isn’t she having a concert?” Nai asked.
“Yes, I know, but it’s in a hour.” I said, and she opened the door.
“Vinnie leave please.” Nai said while looking at me.
“I want my best friend back.” I said while looking at here.
“¿Don’t you have Y/n? You said she’s your best friend now.” Nai said confused.
“I just said that to make you feel jealous.” I said while looking at her.
“You know that I don’t like her.” Nai said.
“That’s why I did it.” I said looking at her.
She let me in, and we talked. We fixed things, and we talked more. I look at my phone, and I’m thirty minutes late. Shit.
“Nai, I loved the conversation we were having, but I need to leave. I’m late.” I said as I stand up.
“Yeah, I know you’re late.” Nai said while looking at him.
“¿Why didn’t you tell me?” I said with a bit of anger.
“You’re my best friend not hers.” Nai said, and I left.
I went to the place, and Jaden was singing. I felt relieved.
“Hey guys.” I said to some girls.
“Hey. Oh shit it’s Vinnie Hacker.” One of them said.
“Yeah, it’s me. ¿I want to know when is Y/n going to sing?” I asked her.
“Oh she already sang. She looked upset, but when she saw us cheering to her, she smiled.” The girl said.
Fuck. I missed it. I went backstage, and I can hear someone crying.
“You don’t know how bad I tried to not cry out there.” Y/n said.
“It’s okay lovely.” Nessa said.
“It’s not okay. He promised me that he was going to be here, and he was at Nai’s.” Y/n said.
¿How did she know that I was at Nai’s?
“Vinnie?” Jaden asked, and Y/n looked up.
“Hey. Sorry for being late.” I said to Y/n.
She cleared her tears.
“It’s okay, and I hope your friendship with Nai is back to normal.” She said with a sad smile.
“Look Y/n, about that-.” I was going to explain, but she interrupted me.
“It’s okay Vincent. You don’t have to explain yourself.” Y/n said, and she left.
“You went to Nai’s when you know that she doesn’t like Y/n. You said you only used to her to make Nai jealous. ¿What’s wrong with you?” Nessa said while looking at him in disbelief.
“You hurt my princess.” Jaden said, and he left to go sing another song.
“I really tried getting here on time, but Nai-.” Nessa interrupted.
“I don’t care Vinnie.” Nessa said, and she left to go find Y/n.
I feel so bad.
| Days Later |
Y/n hasn’t answer any of my calls nor messages. I don’t know what to do. I texted Jaden, and he said that she hasn’t came out of her room. I’m worried about her. I drove all the way to where she lives, and I knocked on the door.
“Coming.” I heard Nessa say.
She opens that door, and she looks at me with a weird look.
“¿What are you doing here?” Nessa asked me.
“I came here to see how Y/n is.” I said, and I look up to see Quinton getting Y/n out of her room.
“Come on. Let’s go get something to eat. You own me a date.” Quinton said with a smile.
“Okay, okay, stop pulling my arm now.” Y/n said while laughing.
I felt something weird. ¿Why is she smiling like that to him? That’s the way she smiled at me.
“Hey Y/n.” I said, and she looks at me.
“¿What are you doing here?” She asked me confused.
“I came to see you since I haven’t seeing you-.” She interrupted me.
“Since you decide to go to Nai’s instead of my concert. Yes, I know.” Y/n said while rolling her eyes.
“I want to fix our friendship.” I said looking at her.
“The same thing you said to her, and you guys fixed things very well. Vinnie just leave me alone. ¿Don’t you have enough with saying that I’m not your best friend, and that you only used me and not going to my concert how you promised?” She said with a dry laugh afterwards.
“No, I wanted to go. Nai just didn’t tell me it was time. Trust me. Please. I really wanted to do, and I love you.” I said looking at her.
“Not what you said when I wasn’t around.” She said looking at me.
“Please.” I said begging.
“I don’t want to hear it. ¡You never gave a fuck about me! You knew Nai and I didn’t get along, and you used me to make her jealous. You told me that you were going to stop talking to her since she betrayed you and look at you know. Going back to her like a fucken lost puppy.” She said turning around afterwards.
“I love you. I have always loved you. I need you, and I can’t live without you.” I said looking at het.
“I love the sound of you saying ‘I love you’, but like I said before. You don’t say that when I’m not around. Go back to Nai. I don’t need you Vinnie, and I can live without you.” She said, amd she went to her room.
“¿What are you going to do?” Quinton asked.
“Getting her back.” I said looking at him.
“You should leave my princess alone, and you should leave my house.” Jaden said with a serious tone.
“She doesn’t need you anymore Vinnie. I’m sorry, but you should go back to Nai how Y/n said.” Nessa said looking at me, and she went to Y/n’s room.
“Jaden. Please.” I said looking at him.
“I can’t do nothing Vinnie. I’m going to be betraying Y/n, and I can’t do that.” Jaden said as he looked at me.
“Okay then, I’ll do all the work myself.” I said as I left their house.
