Thank you so much for the kind words!! I adored writing their friendship, or at least coworker-ship, in this story. I’m so glad you picked up on that silence line too - I really wanted it to come across as that painfully awkward kind of silence, the kind that is difficult to ignore, so it makes me so thrilled that I achieved that 🎉
