My favorite author and kinda the person who's writing got me into the fanfic business 😍 is back ! We get a lot of ideas , stories that are built around emotions like love, lust , but never have I ever come across a fic built around comfort and contentment 💜❤️. When I say I'm deprived of queer fics , I'm actually starving and it's downplayed if I say this fic is a breath of fresh air - it's a whole Environment - that I absolutely thrived in !😊 Use of pronouns , talks of queer folks , acceptance , mentions of changed names , open/poly relationships ... one can write a story on each of these elements but @honeymoonjin ties it all in together so it's like happiness seeping inside the cracks of my soul 😭. Please read this one if you're looking for that sense of fulfillment missing from you ! notes: i apologise if this isn’t up to scratch, i haven’t written an actual oneshot i think since jan/feb (?) so i know i’m rusty. also, this fic contains a trans female jungkook, cis female namjoon and non binary hoseok so i really do hope i’ve done them justice, it’s my first time writing characters with differing gender expressions. please do let me know what you think with a reblog or an ask, it really makes my day and would help a lot as i’m trying to get back into writing. thank you and i love you xxx

Jungkook feels the gripping pressure around her heart ease with every step she takes down the street, fading into phantom pangs once the tall apartment building falls out of view.

She had never quite gotten used to it; the relief in a lack of something, the bliss of less. Her family’s worries seeped into her bones, soured her tongue when she was home. At high school, and especially at university, the stress of other students buffeted her like gales of wind. The brief moments of respite when she’d walk to the bus stop always felt so fleeting, like a gasp of air that didn’t quite fill her lungs enough.

Now, though, she didn’t stop there. She walked further, sucking in deeper breaths.

The train station lay close to the centre of town, but it was never that busy in the late morning, something she’d known fully well before going.

Totally normal daydreaming about your boss - turns wayy dramatic when office gossip King Jimin overhears Kook trying to explain why Joon deserves to walk on clouds to his friend Tae.

Jiminie may or may not have told this juicy bit to CFO Mr. Min , who casually mentions it to Namjoon over business brunch one day.

( Namjoons Tailor gains a new order that day as flustered Joonie spills coffee all over his new suit. )

Poor Kookie's life turns upside down when Tae rushes to him one day , telling him what he heard HR Head Mr. Jung say to their CEO - To control his crush on Kookie and let him work as an intern cum secretary properly without disturbing his 'learning process' .

Jiminie drinks too much at the bar one night where the three makanae are hanging out , teasing Kookie about his crush and blurting out what he told Mr. Min - speculating he must've informed their Boss by now .

(Jungkook seriously contemplates about giving up on his CEO dream and run for the mountains that night : living as a horse whisperer or something sounds better than facing your hot boss who knows about your crush on him)

Namjoon knows that Mr. Jung knows ; He also knows what Mr. Min knows , Kookie on the other hand knows what Tae told him and also what Jiminie heard him say.

Just another normal case of They don't know that we know that they know we know.

Alternatively : What happens when two shy geeks fall in love with each other ?! Chaos.

Jungkook has been dropping his phone left and right, so much that its completely broken.

You would think that a multi-millionaire like him would simply buy a new phone, but he just tapes it and keep it pushing (sustainable king).

Even Namjoon, the personification of clumsiness, cannot stand seeing his favorite maknae’s belonging like this.

So, after practice, he offers him a brand new phone with… a carrot phone case.

Jungkook is very surprised and smiles wide, his bunny teeth and dimples greeting Namjoon and melting his heart.

Namjoon did that out of frustration, but he might offer random bunny related accessories more often, just to see him shine with happiness again and again.
