Daniel didn’t know what was going on. He had come from college a popular, muscular, boxer-wearing, chick-dating bro. Known for his luscious locks of hair he kept styled in a pristine wavy middle part and his frequent habit of getting blackout drunk, Daniel had really made a name for himself in college. The older frat brothers frequently mentioned his name as someone to take over leading the frat one day.
But Charlie refused to let that happen. Charlie was Daniel’s 20 year old older brother. He hadn’t been accepted into any frats, his overall skinny body and dorkiness preventing him from getting the fun drunk college experience he desired. Now he had to sit at home on break after his third year of school and listen to his whiny baby brother go on about his awesome time at college. It was infuriating, especially with Daniel’s past.
That night Charlie began googling different methods of revenge or punishment or ways to take this life away from Daniel. Charlie knew that he himself was a loser, but he also knew that Daniel was too, to his core. He had been a loser almost his whole life until bulking up the summer before college and adopting a new cool persona. Charlie clicked around on his computer until he stumbled across a hypnosis training video. Intrigued, he decided to watch it. Two and a half hours later and a whole rabbit hole of videos, Charlie had a plan.
It took only about a week for Charlie’s plan to start kicking in. After sneaking into Daniel’s room every night and playing a specially recorded cd in his cd player, Charlie was growing restless and desperate to see some change. Then one day Daniel woke up and trudged to the kitchen wearing only a pair of tighty whities, just like he had until senior year of high school. Charlie had been delighted to see the dorky undies.
After another week Daniel was quickly becoming more and more of a dork. Whenever he left the house he tucked his tighty whities into his dress shirt, the fruit of the loom waistband sparkling over his khakis. He started throwing out his cool sneaker collection for sensible orthodontic clunker shoes. He found himself forgetting about the bathroom and dribbling on himself constantly, even starting to wake up every morning with a medium sized wet patch across his crotch.
By the end of June, Daniel was a complete loser. He’d started wearing thick adult diapers to bed for bedwetting, and his daytime potty accidents were almost daily. He’d gone to the orthodontist a few weeks ago to get fitted with adult braces that made him lisp and spit all over people when he spoke. He’d thrown alway his playboy magazine collection for a new subscription to Marvel comics. He delighted in playing DND or world of Warcraft on the family computer for hours. And just a few days ago Daniel had inexplicably shuffled into the local great clips and begged them to shave off his beautiful hair, encouraging them to take his hairline up and shave close to the skin.
Charlie was delighted that the hypnosis tracks had worked so well. Charlie hadn’t been able to make himself cooler, but he had been able to make himself the coolest brother again. He decided to invite some of Daniel’s frat brothers over to see the transition (and kill the last of Daniel’s remaining coolness.)
This was how the senior brothers had first seen Daniel after college; head shaved, sunburned from playing outside like a kid, wearing no clothes to prevent potty issues, and orthodontic footwear. Oh, and a very stained, very yellowed pair of the dorkiest underwear in the world, tighty whities. Daniel was obviously laughed out of the frat, left to return to college as a newly minted bedwetting geek.
