Gia chuckled, leaning in the doorway. "Most definitely," she joked back at him. "I know for a fact that you're more trouble than your worth," she added, enveloping him in a tight hug. "That and I might get turned out for trashing the place. Can you imagine the two of us living together?" she added, laughing. It really was a terrifying thought. Gia tried to be responsible with Noah, in respect of Everett's wishes, but Gia wasn't a very responsible person. Just taking care of herself, alone, was about all she could do. After she'd gotten kicked out of the family by her father, Gia's half-brother had found her and insisted on paying for her tuition and housing out of his practically limitless trust fund. She'd justified it, when she couldn't talk him out of it, by reminding herself that what was now her brother's endless trust was the unification of what had once been hers as well as his old fund. Since half of the money had been hers, she told herself, she could let him put a fraction of it towards helping her along. Since he'd bought the house, outright as a gift, she hadn't had much say but, honestly...it was lonely, but she was too busy reminding herself how blessed she was to be independent (in a sense) to admit that. Her brother couldn't conceive of trying to live in less than three floors, their own family home being a monstrous manor. Gia had never lived by herself before coming here and she often didn't sleep at home, anyway. She'd decorated the first floor just as her mother might have, in hopes that someday her family might show up and wouldn't be ashamed...but they never had. The topmost floor was, to her way of thinking, more comfortable, and the middle floor some bizarre hybrid of the two takes on life...just as her life had been before she'd found out she was a werewolf. "Did you bind and gag Everett somewhere before you escaped to me?" she joked.
Bad Moon Rising | Gia & Noah (closed)
After a painfully boring shift, Noah headed down the familiar route making his way over to Gia’s apartment. It had been a while since he’d seen the brunette, since he’d been spending all his free time with the guys in attempt to “clear his mind”. This usually consisted of drinking until Twin Moon closed and kicked them out at the early hours in the morning. Noah had never been a big drinker, mainly thanks to having occasionally witnessed his fathers abuse with the substance. But a little letting go never hurt anyone. Especially when Noah claimed to be in need of it.
Gia was a lot like him. The pair had hit it off rather well, both having experience with being the new wolves in the pack. Leaving home hadn’t been easy, but they had both managed to find a new home and more right here in Oxford. And most importantly, they shared a common love for having a good time at any time. Gia was one of the few people that Noah could actually hang out with without getting into too much trouble. He often teased her for it too, saying that Everett’s responsible persona was finally getting to her.
He came up to the stunning apartment complex. Gia’s place was…amazing, to say the least. Noah still remembered the first time she had him over, not too long after they met. Three floors all to herself? Gia Desstrin was definitely living the life. In all honesty, Noah wasn’t jealous. He loved living with Everett and Xander. Everett’s place wasn’t this…elegant, but it was home. He saw the front door open out of the corner of his eyes, his focus still occupied at the structure of the building. “Are you sure I’m too old to be adopted?” he asked, a teasing grin on his face.
