yeah, I think that misgendering/detrans kink is absolutely possible to do without harm BUT almost all of the people I see on tumblr are NOT practicing it that way, which makes it extremely hard to interact with the community without also adopting that pattern of behavior as well.

I also think that the vast majority of cis people I see on here who are super into detransing people are doing it because of transphobia, whether they consciously realize/acknowledge it or not. if you're a cis person in this community and you're not willing to do aftercare for the people you personally exchange words with through dms or asks and don't make it ABUNDANTLY CLEAR on your blog that you don't support real transphobia, then you're just transphobic. if you expect trans people to change aspects of their bodies to be valid in detrans kink community then you're just transphobic.

trans people in the detrans kink community, you don't owe anyone anything. if you're feeling overwhelmed then please take a break. if someone is stressing you out or making you do things you're apprehensive about then BLOCK THEM. kink is supposed to be enjoyable for everyone involved.
