The confession literally made me get tumblr, I was never interested on spending even a minute on this site but then I started watching spn for the first time ever all throughout 2020 and when the confession happened I could literally not handle all those feels in the real world so I came here and somehow never truly left again…
What does this show do to us?
I was reading the fucking. tumblr year in review, the destiel section and this bit got me:
every goddamn member of the original fandom activated like fucking sleeper agents to go absolutely feral after the confession lmfao
Somehow, in some way, my entire house has hundreds of hundreds of books, bookshelves in every room, of everything from fiction to non fiction to textbooks to language dictionaries, to studies in the church, but not one, not a single book, not even a page, is an English language dictionary. 2 copies if mark Twain, but not one dictionary in english. We have one in japanese, russian, german, latin, but not one for english words. We have 2 copies of enders game, rick riordans red pyramid, from war and peace to wings of fire, 3 floors of books and bookshelves, not including the attic and garage, but no dictionary. I do not know one woman, NOT ONE who hasn’t had a part of her body grabbed by a strange man at one time or another or been pressured into doing something sexual she didn’t want to do, or who hasn’t been sexually assaulted. Not one, NOT ONE woman who I have ever been friends with or related to, or close enough to share such things, there’s not one who doesn’t have a story having to do with the above instances. So don’t you dare come at me with your “not all men are like that” bullshit. Don’t you dare tell me it is silly for us to have an ingrained mistrust of all men because you are such a nice guy who would never do any of those things to a woman. Don’t you dare try to trivialize the very real fear we live with every fucking day because your fucking bros don’t know how to keep their god damn hands to themselves.
