them.
ive been reading sleep awake all week and oh god is it GOOD.
this fic has infected my brain and i can now only think of these two disasters <3 my rendition of the mc have very warm colors bc i wanted them and kokichi to have the sun and moon dynamic ( it’s what they deserve). its also ironic for someone to be this bright and have so much shit happened to them-
anyway go read Sleep Awake by @chihirolovebot the characterization is perfect, the relationships are so well-written and i couldn’t ask for a better mc!!
for @gwenene — felix: dialogue 11, scenario 11, gn!reader note from nia: OMG thank u for requesting this :] i had a Vision inspired by smth me and my friends were gonna try to do and didn’t LOL. also idk what lipbalm he'd use i'm personally just a big cherry fan. wahoo!!

“are you sure we timed this right?”
“there’s no way we didn’t. i asked so many people—i did math.”
“just because you did math doesn’t mean it was right, fe,” you remind him with a laugh. it’s then that you remember the look of concentration on felix's face after your information collecting session. from dm’ing the friend you saw succeed the night before, asking 4 different mothers and 3 workers, and luck with the line, felix was convinced that you’d both be at the top of the ferris wheel as the firework show began.
so it’s at your teasing remark that he gapes at you and makes a noise, but ultimately closes his mouth in favour for a pout. he looks out the window, turning his body to angle away from you.
“felix?” he doesn’t respond, eyes fixated on the crowds walking beneath you.
“felix,” you sing-song, angling your body to try to get in his view. he only continues to turn away, the ferris wheel moving for the next group to get on. “are you upset about the math thing?”
you’re met with silence and even though you know he’s not actually upset, you decide to play along. “okay, i’m sorry i doubted your math skills. what can i do for your forgiveness?”
it’s when he doesn’t respond again—not even with one of his usual quips—that you start to wonder if it actually upset him. but then he turns, just a little, and clears his throat before speaking. “...i might feel better if you kiss me.”
you blink. as you look at him, you note the blush on his cheeks and reddening ears. but for some reason you can’t bring yourself to comment on it and only manage to say one thing—“wow.”
“you asked!”
a laugh escapes you, and though he wouldn’t admit it, you could hear the slight laugh in felix’s own retort. putting your hands up in surrender, you apologize. the ferris wheel is almost at the top, and you can hear a voice doing announcements for the fireworks, though you can’t make out what they’re saying exactly. your focus is on felix as you move closer and gesture for him to do the same, “c’mere then.”
his expression softens a little as he slides next to you. as soon as his face is in reach, one of your hands cups his cheek while the other grabs his hand to hold. you peck him quickly on the lips and pull away to see his reaction. he has that look on his face—the look that he has when sage has done something annoying and he can’t tell if he should complain or accept fate. you laugh softly again, saying a quick “just kidding,” before kissing him again.
at some point one of his hands finds its place on your hip, the other still clasping yours. you practically forget you’re at a carnival when you can smell felix’s new shampoo, hear him sigh contentedly against your lips, and almost taste his usual cherry lipbalm.
you pull away again to look at him, and he has a confused frown. “do you accept my apology now?”
felix blushes and breathes out a laugh before nodding, “i will if you kiss me again?”
and there’s really no reason why you would decline his request, is there? you’re both so focused on each other that neither of you notice you’ve reached the top of the ride, or the voice from before booming, announcing the beginning of the firework show.
the both of you jump apart at the sound of the first one, having forgotten the reason behind your ride in the first place. you can hear the crowd below you cheering and aw’ing as more and more lights shoot up in the sky. you turn towards felix who looks at you with something between a grin and smirk. “i told you i did the math.”
