Parties are your thing. Usually. But when nearly all of your female coworkers around your age have gotten together at someone’s place, and you make the awful discovery that even she is here, it’s not the greatest of times. And by her, you mean your coworker that attended the same high school as your boyfriend.

It’s not like it means anything; they were never a thing, and for all you know, Jeongguk never looked her way. But your boyfriend is a sweetheart, always polite and friendly, and while that’s one of the reasons you adore him, you know that sort of kindness is often confused for flirting.
