The elevator hummed as you made your descent after a long work day. Fingers clutching your purse to your stomach, every lurch of the journey had your tired frame swaying in tandem with it. 

The mirrored doors - since when were the elevator doors mirrored? - opened revealing Hoseok. Of course, you almost muttered to yourself, but instead you remained silent, gaze roaming over Hoseok’s form. He was wearing a suit that you hadn’t seen before - a new one maybe? It was pure black, almost as dark as the hallway he stepped in from.
