TV Show Promo of the Day: IGN has just released a brand new trailer for The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra — Nickelodeon’s long-awaited follow-up to Avatar.
The new trailer is chock full of new footage, including a scene of Korra destroying a 2,000-year-old treasure that probably shouldn’t have been used for airbending training if they didn’t want to risk it being destroyed jus’ sayin’.
Though no official premiere date has yet been set (coming soon? Thanks for nothing), it has been confirmed that the first episode will air sometime in 2012 — possibly as early as this summer.

— rafe’s chuckle only frustrated you further as you clung to his bicep, surely leaving crescent indents as your grip tightened every time you noticed her looking.
you were supposed to have a good night; you, rafe and a couple of his friends— having a few drinks at the country club. and you were, until you spotted a girl ogling rafe, sultry eyes desperate to connect with his as she giggled to her surrounding friends.
you weren’t worried, you knew for a fact rafe would never— but he was also yours, and you needed to make that clear.
“shit kid, tryin’ to claw your way inside or somethin’?” he grimaced, making you loosen your grip. “sorry” you murmured, rubbing a gentle thumb over the marks you’d left. he tilted his head, brows knitted together as he watched you carefully— following your moody glare to that table of girls. as if he read your mind, which he almost could at this point— having examined and analysed every single expression over the course of your relationship, he nudged you slightly to draw your attention back to him. “ain’t nothin’ to worry about kid”
glancing back once more, you eyed her as she took a sip of her drink, her gaze not faltering once.
“rafe— if you don’t kiss me right fuckin’ now” you hissed, peering up at him challengingly. he was quick to match your energy, swiftly grabbing your jaw, jerking you closer to his face. “or what?” he smirked, eyes darkening as he tilted his head, eyebrows raised.
pouting your glossy lips, you pulled back, attempting to get out of his grasp, his words only irritating you further. and yet— in classic rafe fashion, he only tightened his hold, pulling you closer than before. “you want a show doll? i’ll give you a fuckin’ show”
releasing your jaw, he snakes his hand round to the back of your neck, tangling his fingers in your hair as he pulled— before leaning down to meet your lips.
