OMG You like Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome too?! I thought I was the only person who'd even -heard- of that! I love that game soooooo much, but I only really found it once, but I played it so much. Omg thank you for bringing back memories on that lol.

I remember liking your Crashbox art, had NO idea you would know + like Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome! Finding fellow fans is sooooo hard! Every person I've talked to about this game ends up loving it + Oscar, but it's rare that I can find someone who already knows about it/played it.
I still play the game a lot, and I plan to play it more! It's my favorite Hidden Object game of all time!!!
Hi again! I dunno if you do writing or anything, but I write/RP a lot, in various spots, and since I feel a lot of gratitude for you reminding me of Oscar and Dorian Gray Syndrome, even if indirectly, and helping me see other fan arts/fans via searching the name on tumblr, I'd love to collaborate with you on something! Really the only problem I ever had with Dorian Gray Syndrome was that it ended lol I always wanted more stories and characters in it, even if I think it came to a perfect end.
I love writing! I have 600K+ words archived at the moment! I used to RP back in the day, but I don't know if I'd pick it up again...
I've been debating on working on an Oscar X Reader fic after I'm finished with my Whispered Secrets: Morbid Obsessions story! That one would have the premise of the reader being a young and beautiful presence that catches Oscar's eye, and how your relationship progresses with him and he traps you in the manor and keeps you as his next 'centerpiece'. It would be an interesting thing to tackle, I think.
I've also been thinking, as an alternative, of writing the fic where (Spoilers!) Oscar catches his at-the-time girlfriend cheating on him with his mechanic, and how his breakdown + thoughts would go at that moment, what leads him to his revelation of his art and gift.
If either of these sound interesting, we could possibly collab on it! I'm afraid I don't have the time to fully work on either of these stories, but I'd love to make more content of this game! <3
(Btw, my favorite fic based on Dorian Gray Syndrome is on AO3! I don't know if you've read it, but if you haven't, I highly recommend it!)

^^ This!!!
I know Hidden Object games can be cheaply made/written, but it seems like the most I've tried playing lately just aren't...good. Like. I've seen HOPA games that have GOOD plot, ACTUAL characters + development, etc., but there are soooo many out there that are made just to...well, be made...
WHY am i so picky with hidden object games. Like I know I need to play and find more of them but each time I play a free trial of some new HOPA game I'm always looking at it like this

Hey my good friend in hidden-object-games love :D you'll always have a special place in my mutual list for reminding me of so many of my favorite hidden object games from my childhood.
So, on the topic of one of my more recent posts: obviously, since I can't program, I can't literally -make- my own original hidden object game, but what I -can- do is draw and write.
So on the side, I think I'm going to work on a fully original horror story via said art and writings. I'm mostly telling you this cause A: I figured you'd like to know, and B: I'd want somebody I think who'd enjoy it to be able to see it, and hopefully have other people of like-minds that follow both of us see it as well.
I can't help but feel a bit silly writing this, cause by making a hidden object game story in this style, I'm basically removing the two key points of the genre, IE 'hidden object' and 'game' XD. But there's no other way I can pull this off so *shrug*. This'll probably take a while to happen also, since as you've probably noticed I've been doing a lot of RP blogging lately, so I'm a tad busy, but now that I'm starting to get back into my hidden-object grove I wanna see if I can cook something up.
Hey!! If it helps, you can call me 'Rainbow'!
YES!! Honestly, horror and creepy-themed HOPAs are my guilty pleasure, and I seek those out the most when I'm trying to find new games. I can't wait to see a fan project like that come to life! I honestly think fan-made-ideas of HOPA games should be a Thing - I know one would never come to full fruition unless it was a full programed "game" with "hidden object" scenes, but the concept alone should be fun to work with, I think!
Would love to see this! Please send me any updates if you can!
