Hey, what objectively unhelpful thing does the cavedude in the back of your brain do when attacked by the brain pain monster? (Or other severe pain, I suppose, but I find headaches make me the most irrational, as sometimes thinking hurts.)

bc it's a combo of
fantasizing about cutting out the pain
and very unhelpfully moving/poking said painful part
in the hopes that it won't hurt this time
