The Main Idea Of Afaleon As A Character Is The Fact That He Was A Real Black Dragon In The Past. As A

The main idea of Afaleon as a character is the fact that he was a real black dragon in the past. As a result of some powerful violent transformations, he became dragonborn, but his essence as a creature still remained dragon. This can be seen in his appearance - he looks much more menacing than his fellows and even has a tail. This can be seen also by the way he speaks, moves, how he behaves in different situations and what life decisions he makes. Having learned to live in a civilized society, he nevertheless still has dragon habits within himself and he cannot escape this. His never-ending anger and deep-seated feeling of contempt for all living things drives his motives from within. He was taught to be what he was not born into this world, and both the human part of the personality, nurtured by society, and his deep dragon self coexist in him.

When I reached the end of the game, I thought that if there was a way to remove the crown from the Elder Brain and put it on him, it would definitely release his dragon self. He would regain his true appearance and his personality, after many centuries again spreading his huge wings over Faerun. He would do the same thing he did when he was a dragon - capture cities, burn villages for his amusement and gather a huge army around him. He was a tyrant in the past and would come to the present as such. However, I don’t think this dragon age of Faerun would last long.

His true dragon form, by the way:

It must also be said that I sometimes deviate from the canon of the Forgotten Realms when it simply concerns my personal creativity. I know that black dragons in the Forgotten Realms are known for using acid to attack, but that doesn't suit my character. Instead of acid, it spews out purple fire - I think it's something like a cursed fire… I don't know what to call it, but there’s definitely something similar in DND.
