I apologize in advance for the possible bias as this is based a bit on wishiful thinking. Thinking about the Witches Disciples and reading @midnight-in-town s theory about Ashaf having the favor of a Witch, my mind immediatly went to another character. Johan, Phanolas Kristoffles Aide. Interestingly enough if this turns out to be true it might be the only case of us as the reader actively seeing how a witch is affected by bestowing her favor on someone. My reasoning is honestly quite simple , the few times Johan was on screen we've seen him tank attacks which might have killed anyone human. And while yes he is (un)dead, i personally think that there's more to him. Especially considering that during the "beauty and death" arc we've seen regular un-dead. Even compared to Phanolas death knights he seems special. She has him around 24/7 and doesnt take it to kindly if he gets hurt. Meanwhile Phanola seems kinda frail compared to other witches.... But yeah this is all kinda half baked
