I had a great time, but it was not...the most stellar of games, shall we say? But good effort following the Olympic break. And any hockey is good hockey, as far as I'm concerned.
My mom was going through her late husband's files and found this. She then went on to tell me, "Oh yeah, he had season tickets when we first met (late 1970s) but he gave them up." He GAVE THEM UP (dies a little inside). I had NO IDEA. Of course, in the pre-Mario days, they had no way of knowing how hockey would explode in Pittsburgh. This would have been the Igloo (Civic Arena) in the lower bowl on the "home" end of the ice. Pretty decent seat actually, although I prefer to sit on the Double Attack end. Just for comparison sake, an equivalent seat at CONSOL sells for $168.00. Big difference, eh?
Anyway, just thought my Pens friends would get a kick out of this.
Those thighs should be illegal. Just sayin'. Also, I'm glad he doesn't wear the crocs for two-touch.

Geno looked amazing, as always. Sid looks like he smelled something bad--I suspect it’s that sorry attempt at facial hair. Sid, baby, stahp. Tanger, studiously cleaning pucks out of Flower’s crease.
