Taken by the inevitable feeling of adrenaline rushing through him, he was more than excited to finally be back in the scene after having not attended a battle-of-the-bands-esque event in a while. He was absolutely in his element and even more so with his favourite company, Yon. He noticed the girl’s hesitation and discomfort but was thrown off a bit since he assumed it wouldn’t be much different to her gigs aside from the fact that she was now an audience member rather than the main event.
“ aw c’mon yons, it’s not that different from your gigs, right? ”
He knew Yon wasn’t comfortable with new sudden changes, after having that talk with her about what-if’s it became more apparent to him that he ought to play it more on the safe side with her, though he’d hoped this wouldn’t be too far off from her daily grind so he couldn’t really understand or see any issues with it. Leaving was definitely out of the question for him, he’s been wanting to see this band play for over a week now, but he didn’t like seeing Yon uncomfortable like this either (it left a bitter feeling in his stomach).
He searched through the packed auditorium-like room, getting on his tip toes to check above the crowd since he was slightly disoriented on where exactly they were. As he looked around for the exit, he couldn’t help but smirk to himself at the view, noticing a potential mosh-pit and seeing people falling over themselves so early in the night. Finally catching sight of the exit, he looked back to her and brought up his hand to her shoulder as he gestured to the exit with his head;
“ d’you wanna grab a drink and head out for some fresh air? calm your nerves a little? ”

she spoke so very quietly that it was barely audible. her glassy eyes finds his own and the excitement in them struck some kind of chord in her, it’s not often he gets that look. it’s one of her favourite levi looks. in fact, seeing him experience any kind of joy was nice for her. she would never admit that to herself, i’m not even sure if she realises this herself ... however. with her stagnant expression, she follows close behind him. choosing to nod in response to his question once his gaze is caught in her own, yon decides to ignore the strange discomfort in her stomach, at least for now.
yon’s nod is now replaced almost immediately by a shake of the head, biting down on her lower lip as a few strands of hair get caught on her lower lip. ❛ no. i’m not nervous. i don’t want to go outside. ❜ spoken as monotone as ever, a little louder than normal as the crowds surrounding them seemed to almost drown her small voice out. a large group to her right began to shout, just as she finished her sentence, it seems she noticed the mosh pit as well. nothing that yon wasn’t used to by now. her eyes flicker back to levi’s, she took a second to read his expression before coming to the conclusion that he definitely wanted either to be a part of that or get a little closer.
with an hand over her shoulder, yon points over to the chaos attempting to ask her comfort boy a question, however shes interrupted by further loud shouting. it continues for just a couple of seconds so with raised brows, she continues.
