I don't mean to be rude but I think you are missing my point here.

Obviously some things in mdzs is wrong- morally and culturally speaking.

This might just be my headcanon speaking but xue yang and jin guagyao both peg me as being sociopaths and psychopaths. Or atleats having some form of anti social personality disorder. I am not saying that "oh no they were just mentally ill people trying their best" im saying that what they did was wrong and whether not they recognise that fact doesn't mean we can't admit if they got they needed they wouldn't be as jaded. That most of the characters were victims of their circumstance.

Wwx isn't 100% right to awake bodies of dead people in a culture that so very well values the dead.

I'll be honest idk what to say to the cultivation world one. it sthe setting for he novel. it's supposed to be there to add the dynamics of jianghu present in most xianxia novels and histroical ones.

What makes you think that I mean jc isn't wrong for that? He is wrong for that and so much more but the main of his moral crimes I think is not telling the cultivation world that their were war refuges in the burial mounds. hienstly I think in his head he pegged wwx as a traitor and if he did try to convince the other sects that wwx was trying to protect they innocents they might not believe him and his newly restored sect migh be jn danger.

I meant to say that just for a minute consider the background of the people and THEN make your posts about why you hate the caharcter and why they are an abomination. The circumstances add weight to their actions. if someone were to see another person running at them with a knife, they in turn start fighting them in self defense and kill them only to later find out the person wihr a knife wasn't even running towards them but w perosn beihind them. Will they eb guilty?

Yes they killed the guy but they did it out of fear for their own life.

Their actions aren't the only thing that matters. But then again that's just my opinion.

oh and another take that I feel the mxtx- specifically mdzs fandom needs to hear is that none and i mean none of the characters have any set morality. this applies to their mindset, actions, feelings- the entire point is that you see where all the characters come from and recognise their actions. none of them are completely 100% good or bad. the point of the entire novel isn't to see and judge their actions. it's to see where they come from, what mindset requires those terrible or honourable actions. is it okay to call out a character on their actions? yes. but please for the love of mo xiang tong xiu remember what caused those actions and whether your call out is necessary instead of making posts like "character A was just trying his best and character B came and ruined everything that's why I hate character C". no. almost all the characters are shitty to some extent albeit in different categories. recognise that and you will appreciate mdzs even more.
