Types of people: Socks

Fluffy: Warm hugs. Cold hands. Tea in bed. Dancing with no music playing. Forgetting the kettle on. Probably makes their own jam. Binge watches constantly.

Stripes: Roller skates. Living in the wrong era. Not sure what they’re doing with their life. Very consistent friend. Loud laughs. Ice cream on cold days. Can’t make up their mind.

Polkadots: Too many thoughts in their heads. Tries to be as nice as possible. Wants to be friends with everyone. Often overlooked. Long walks through the city. Aching feet.

Hand-knitted: Bit rough around the edges. Good intentions. Toasty evenings by the fire. Cuddling with friends. Little sense of colour-coordination. Close family. Talks before they think.

Glitter: Not afraid to stand up for themselves. Jazz hands. Wants to be famous. Parties all night long. Forgets to say please and thank you. Wants to stand out. Wishes on stars.

Plain: Keeps to themselves a lot. Great friend once you get past their barriers. Shy. Not good at technology. Soft smiles. Quick, meaningful touches. Slight mischievous side.

Pictures: Mix-and-match clothing. Stumbles over their words. Get excited easily. Weird, but lovable. Strange taste in art. Too many different interests. Mood changes easily.

Words: Talks too much for their own good. Sarcastic. Poetry at midnight. Swears a lot. Says they don’t care, but actually does. Nicer than they pretend to be. Born before their time.
