There was this crazy mixed convention (bondagecon/animecon/and balloon art conventions) that were held in [Redacted] between three hotels that were fairly close together near the [Redacted] mainly for convenience for out of town travelers. On [Redacted] there was this incident where I have to assume it was puki, where this crazy mock battle took place and [Redacted] was thrown through the watching crowd, and the the from door of the [Redacted] where the balloon convention was taking place, causing the first of a chain reaction of large balloon sculptures to explode and deflate, knocking over material stations, and causing a spillout from the main hall into the parking lots of [Redacted], where the bondage convention people came out to investigate, most were still wearing their fetish gear, long story short, the fetishists saw the balloons and went into the [Redacted], followed by the balloon artists, the anime convention goers that saw this happening from the [Redacted] lobby notified as many of the other con go'ers and followed suit, the whole event was hushed up though because [Redacted] couldn't be connected to [Redacted] without massive repercussions happening. The balloons (both sculpture and unused) were tainted by the fall out from the events that happened. Even though you won't find anything about these events, there are still thousands of those that went to these convention all those years ago that were traumatised by that. Im one of them after all...
