Finally! Noa was promoted to a lieutenant. He now can give orders like a boss~

"THE" Keycard finally comes to Noa's hand

With the Keycard in hand, the once sealed door finally opened for Noa.

As soon as the door opened, a strange mist of spores spread out everywhere.

As he went further, Noa suddenly felt dizzy.

Something was wrong. These spores were poisonous! Noa tried to run back, but it was too late. He couldn't breathe, his body lost strength.

When Noa was on the verge of losing consciousness, he caught a glimpse of something approaching him. He opened his mouth, but not a single word could come out. Then the darkness enveloped him and he collapsed...

The bloom begins

The sky is shrouded in ominous dark clouds, and bizarre-looking plants have sprouted up all around the town. Though the scientists have informed him about toxins and infection spreading throughout the town, Noa still can't believe what he sees with his own eyes after stepping out of the lab. They told him it's something below the ground causing all of this. Regardless of whatever it is, Noa determined to find out before it's too late.

Now that Noa is one of the military authorities, he has been assigned to join the Research Team, which consists of both military personnel and scientists. Their responsibility is to research the 'Thing belows the ground' that causing strange occurrences in Strangerville.

"Hello, Mr. Meyer, we meet again."

"You can call me Noa."

Senna nodded "Alright, Noa, welcome to the team. Now, are you ready to see what we've been researching secretly, away from the public eye?"

Her faint, delicate fragrance tickled his nose. His heart skipped a beat, unsure whether it was because he was getting closer to the mystery or... to her.

Their eyes lingered on each other a bit longer before both turning away.

"Yes, I'm more than ready."

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!"

"There're some scratches here, but I don't think they're infected. You're really lucky this time. No one has ever fought the Mother Plant and gotten away with only minor wounds before."

"But we still can't defeat it. Ouch!" Noa gasped from pain.

Senna chuckled. "Don't get too down, Mister Soilder. We're working on vaccines and biological weapons to fight them. Trust me, we've got this. We're definitely going to win."

They smiled at each other.

All of sudden, the air grew hot for some reasons...

Guess who agreed to stay over? :)
