I would've drawn more but my hand started to hurt ;-;

Also my style spontaneously changed in the middle of drawing this; it's weird but not entirely unwelcome :)

Monfalls Mystery Kids: In some stories, kelpies are actually made of water. If the mystery kids are in the middle of the forest and no one brought a water bottle, Mabel just sticks her head into Coraline's side. Coraline refills her guts whenever they go to the lake. Dipper freaked the first time it happened, and Norman prefers to stay away from her kelpie half lest he rot.

Hm, I never came across that version of a kelpie! I think Coraline would think being made of water was cool, but I’m not so sure about Mabel taking advantage of it unless she was really desperate– being used as a living fishtank would probably freak Coraline out a bit too much!

Norman’s more of an intangible spirit than living dead, so rot’s not much of a concern for him. ^^

The kid we really should be worried about getting too close is Raz… :’D

So I still want to do a larger scene with certain other characters, but I needed to get the style down, so for now, here we are! All the kids drawn in the style of Hanna is Not a Boy’s Name, a webcomic I love very much that you can find here. It has a fantastic style that’s influenced me probably a little bit more than I realize, and using it with the kids was a lot of fun. ^^

Ha, I know right? I really think it would’ve been hilarious and brought back some humor in the episode, but ah well. I’m still pretty proud that we made a whole 45-minute episode all on our own. ^^
