TW: minor spoilers for Yao’s interrogation

This is just a fluffy, little drabble I had for Yao and I wanted to share with the class. Just Yao being silly and the adorable bird that she is 💕

Since Yao now roams Whitesands, hunting for the Tide of Ashes and other Apostles, imagine she stumbles upon you, a lone traveler trekking through Whitesands, and is absolutely smitten with you upon first sight.

Yao was perfectly fine on her own, yet when she sees a mere human wandering Whitesands alone, her eyes light up and her curiosity is immediately piqued. She flies to a nearby tree branch and perches there, watching you from afar without you noticing, as you set up camp and begin cooking a meal for yourself. You are completely unaware that you are being watched by an S-Class sinner of all people, yet Yao finds that amusing. She watches you for a couple more days before deciding she wants to make a move on you now.

Your first interaction definitely does not go well as you are fearful for your life when Yao plops down in front of you. But even when you are yelling at her and aimlessly swinging around a pathetic hatchet as a “weapon” Yao coos and decides she wants to “impress” you.

How? You may ask?

Yao does a bird mating dance.

You are so confused and so bamboozled by the sight of this bird woman hopping around on her feet and puffing up her feathers, that you drop your hatchet and just stare at her in disbelief. Yao finds this as a sign you’re “smitten” by her too, and takes her moment to rush up to you and snuggle you.

Well, you didn’t expect this. You’re half tempted to just push this random bird lady away, but her body is just so warm. All survival instinct goes out the window as you decide that this big bird woman was no real threat to you, and decide to keep her by your side as a “companion.”

Perhaps this companionship turns into something more? Who knows. Whether or not Yao was trying to impress you or flirt with you through her mating dance is something only Yao knows ❤️

I dunno wheter to think about how nice Yao would be to cuddle since her body temp would be higher.

Or about how nice she would feel inside Reader, whatever part of her body she would use. Just warm, wet and all nice as she takes care of Reader.

She’d be so good to snuggle with too, especially in the cold months of winter. Just her giant wings enveloping both of your naked bodies together as she coos and needily nuzzles your chin for her to fuck you. Poor birdy is getting horny since the traits of the Sun Crow are quite present in her biology. She want to have an “egg” with you, and whether or not it comes in the form of a human child or an actual egg, Yao doesn’t care. She just wants a family 🥺

Even Apostle of Ashes need to be laid sometimes, it seems. This giant bird lady would do a little happy dance when you agree to let her fuck you and my god does she feel amazing. She’s so warm and protective. Even when you’re in the safety of your own “nest” Yao likes to keep you under her and wrap her giant, crow-like wings around you to keep you safe. Or she’s just possessive, tbh

She’s so caring and gentle with her mate…capable of shredding up the Tide of Ashes on her own, yet will cuddle you like your skin is made of eggshells <3
